"The work of our group was not to just re-enact. the myths, but to take those ancient stories of the Goddess to the next level of evolutionary unfolding."

Katherine Josten, THE GLOBAL ART PROJECT (2004)

Grandmother Spider Woman is the great weaver who "spins the world into being with the stories she imagines". Also called "Thought Woman" (Tse Che Nako) by the Hopi and other Pueblo peoples of the Southwest, Spider Woman's hands are also our hands.....weaving, revealing and remembering a vision of a unitive, quontum, co-creative world. To follow the trail of Spider Woman is to find see the world "with a webbed vision".

Open a door to Mystery -
and sometimes,the Miraculous.

In 2005 I was at the Artist's Enclave at I Park in Connecticut working on my version of the Tarot. Because so much inspiration occurs there around the dinner table, it's become a tradition for each artist to leave a "recipe" when they leave. That's how this little book about RECIPES FOR THE MUSE came about. Ask a question and open the book to pick a card. It works for me. Bon Appetit.

In a cardboard box I found a treasure ~ visionary poetry and
artwork by myself and my friends Joanna and Felicia, from halcyon years in Berkeley in the early '70's. It gives me great pleasure to publish them at last.

For three weeks
the cool moon
bound by occult cords
moves through the houses
of memory and sleep
distills night in a bowl

But on the night of the full moon
what is mirrored
in a still pool?
